6th tump of 9 on this 2nd day of three boat trips I organised with Farsain Cruises out of Craobh Haven, first landing on the Southern tip of the Western arm of Lunga to climb Garbh Cheatramh and Bidein na h-lolaire we then headed North for the tidal traverse all the way to the Northern-most tip of Rubha Fiola for collection and then landing near Sgeir Coll na Poran to climb Lunga's last tump of Barr A' Bhealaich. We were dropped off at the jetty near Poll na h-Elaidh (NM72035 06081) thereafter easy walking on the track past Kilmory Lodge, veering off at NM71210 05689 to heading NW for the summit plateaux then North to the summit, recording 155m @ NM 70957 05871- the wind started to quicken and the rain intensified but the 1st tump on Scarba was done, descent South then South east following the ridge to drop down at the track intersection. It is here that I handed over my map to Charles E who only needed to do Maol Buidhe, I and three other intrepid baggers continued Sw on the track be | Dazingdale | 15/05/2018 |
