After a night on Machir dunes we headed out early along the coastal path to the cliff top hills above. Cnoc nam muc-clach and Meall Riabhach were fairly straightforward, but then we had to find a line across heather and wet grass to Cnoc Dubh and then back to Turnaichaidh. Not easy going, but deer tracks and lack of mist and rain helped.summitter10/05/2021

Drove up on access track from Kilchiaran to visit the old RAF Kilchiaran Chain Home Low radar station as 2 of the masts were trig intersected stations. Site closed 1958, buildings remain extant if derelict but masts long gone. Super views N over Machir Bay and beyondjonglew10/06/2014
