Parked at the bridge to the NW. Short distance along the track, then up and over some boggy ground and straight up on grass between the cliffy areas. Pleasant hill, but very windy. Higher hills in mist.LizH13/06/2021
Parked in car park by bridge for a long round of 12 Tumps in 13 hours. 12/12. From Cnuic an Fhuarain Mhoir. Descended N slope, then S of loch back to car park.PGCE09/05/2021
Bridge works on-going so marked parking place out of action. Easy approach to summit from North.Tony S15/08/2018
With K from track end marked as a parking place on 1:50k north of Achfary. Straightforward. Local advice was that stepping stones across loch further south are sporting and anyway they deliver you at the foot of the crag which must be bypassed.Ashley29/12/2017
What a comedy. No problem with stepping stones or rotten bridge. Climbed obvious ravine 150m down alongside loch to scramble out over buttress onto the ridge. Sanity broke out choosing to descend N around crags (probably quicker).Eddie24/08/2016
Great fun on the stepping stones, though the boards on the bridge in the middle suggest an attempt to discourage use. The ascentlooks intimidating but is fairly straightforward up rock and heather slopes to the north. Don't try to shortcut the path, as the area east of Loch nan Ealachan is a floating bog - best to stick close to the cragsColin Crawford16/06/2016
From Achfary with Ben Stack & Ben Dreavie.Jim.Fothergill20/05/2016
From the Arkle carpark 🚗 fairly easy, wellies recommended until on the ridge.Martin R16/05/2016
