From Colonsay House on a round of the hills on Colonsay's NE end. Beinn Eoin -> Beinn Bheag -> Meall na Monadh -> Dun Crom -> Cnoc na Faire first then across to here. On to Beinn nam Fitheach -> Cnoc Callanta. Also picked up the MacPhies and a trig bolt (searched for but not found) at Leac Bhuidhe on an 11 mile round with Andrew P.jonglew10/09/2021
Day 2 of Macfies round with Rob. The Northern Macfoes terrain seemed easier than on Day 1, so this was faster than we expected.alexmaclennan30/08/2020
From the CP above the SW end of Kiloran Bay to the road bend, across fields S of the watercourse (not the best route), up the obvious gully and right to Pairc Gharbh. Then cross-country through a miniature wood to Beinn nan Fitheach, and back on the N side of the watercourse (much easier).Nick Down121/04/2019
B8087 from Scalasaig to near Croit a’ Mhinisteir, then a lift to north end of B8086 from same local who gave me two lifts in 2016. From nearby barn over grass and heather, avoiding most of bracken, up fairly directly to summit. Mostly dry after earlier rain, but low cloud — visibility less than about 300 metres. Stiff breeze on top. Southwards towards Beinn nam Fitheach, but initially tending a bit westwards to avoid deep heather.mainnirnamfiadh26/09/2018
From barn at NR402975, welcome shelter from an hour of torrential rain. Fairly easy ascent on grass and heather, then on to Beinn nam FitheachColin Crawford28/07/2018
