#13 of 13 from end of public road. Garrisdale bothy at its foot a charming spot. ATV tracks make a reasonable albeit often boggy route back SE to road, joining it just S of the chain (NR674940). Mostly dry day, cold N wind, a few sharp snow squalls. | RHW | 07/04/2022 |
1st log for this hill & 1th hill of 13 on this tough exploration of Jura's Northern hills, climbing Ton Com, Beul Leathad, Bheinn Bhiorgaig, Maol nan Damh, An Cruachan, Cruach Glen Trosdale plus North top, Beinn nan Capull, Cruach na Seilgig and Sgorr Mhor followed by a lengthy drop down to drop into Glengarrisdale Bay crossing the burn on stones and scrambling up far side (avoiding the cliffs) to reach ridge and cliffs that hold the summit. A Short scramble up the rocks leads to this attractive summit. Grid ref to follow. | Dazingdale | 05/06/2017 |
