2nd attempt of the day successful to get ashore, up via monastery remains. HP short distance from trig. On to island HP. | PeterD | 16/06/2022 |
After failing to make a landing in the morning due to heavy swell, we returned pm and landed at usual rocky place to South of monastery. Very interesting remains of this historic site, then up to the Tump and trig before setting off for the Sib. | NormanW | 16/06/2022 |
Anchored in bay ashore with NB, DR, GB. Visited priory and beehive cells. Time and tide prevented further exploration. Excellent weather. | Frank | 02/09/2021 |
Landed by boat near interesting ruined monastery and then through lush grass to summit near trig before continuing north along ridge over the middle 'high point' to island HP . Breezy sun. | Denise | 20/07/2019 |
From landing on SE side of island. Path to the remains of the Monastery then up through bracken to the ridge. A great day out with Farsain Cruises. Superb weather and stunning views. | RichardM | 20/07/2019 |

3rd visit, with Farsain Cruises, organised by Dazingdale. #1 of 10 island P30s. Carefully surveyed the middle summit (NM 63996 09925, grassy outcrop) - line survey using Seco hand level made it P29.4 to SW col, P33.4m to NE col | RHW | 14/05/2018 |
The 1st of 12 Island tump summits on the 1st of my three trips organised with Farsain Cruises. Dropped-off at usual location (NM64036 09529) to briefly explore the Chapel and bee-hive cell remains, before heading Sw and then up to the Trig pillar and summit, recording 78m @ NM 63843 09753. Continuation Ne, rounding the gully and up to the middle top (72m @ NM 63995 09924), being surveyed by Rob at the time, then descent South and back upto the ridge Nne to head Ne for Ealeach an Naoimh... | Dazingdale | 14/05/2018 |
Dropped by boat below the chapel then up to Eileach an Naoimh, the Vanessa trig plus TUMP top of Eileach an Naoimh SW Top below just having time to visit the lighthouse. | Dugswell2 | 10/06/2015 |
2nd time here - but missed the (higher) NE summit last time. Landed on rocky point S of monastery. That odd shaped outcrop just N of landing, makes a fun scramble. The middle summit looks like a potential new P30; my GPS agrees. | RHW | 10/06/2015 |
Boat trip with trigpointers and island bagers using Farsuin Cruises to 5 islands around Garvellachs area. | andy | 05/08/2012 |
