#8 of 10 island P30s, with Farsain. Tricky landing N side. Striking quartzite exposures | RHW | 14/05/2018 |
10th tump of 12 on the 6th Island of the day, on the 1st day of my three boat trips organised with Farsain Cruises, having visited Eileach an Noaimh, A'Chuli, Garbh Eileach and Don Chonnuill, we bypassed this one to visit the tumps on Eilean Dubh Mor then rounded the island to the North dropping in on a stretch of rock Wnw of the summit, near Sgeir nan Crubag @ NM69370 11225. I headed up SE then East to the summit, recording 42m @ NM 69522 11172, returning a similar route. Onwards to Guirasdeal, that had avoided being visited by all known Island Baggers thus far....things would change. | Dazingdale | 14/05/2018 |
Landed NE side, needs fairly calm conditions. A few of us bagged this while the others still needing E D Mor bagged that - typically Machiavellian Holmes plan! Then Fladda then Belnahua. Group charter with Farsain Cruises out of Craobh Haven. | RHW | 10/06/2015 |
