Track from NJ 375 398. The more direct track SW does not exist. Once at gate, follow fence line SE to pick up good tracks all the waycarole engel24/10/2018
From the road end below Wester Braetown, up the easy track. Easy strolling and fine views. Would heartily recommend out and back the same way rather than being nuts enough to continue on to Garbet Hill. After the track expires part way up Meikle Balloch, the going is purgatorial in knee deep vegetables and moss, relieved only by a small area of short heather close to the summit of Garbet Hill. The descent to the track in Glen Markie is even worse, with holes and tussocks to contend with. At least the walk out down the track is nice. Might need to be firm with the frisky cattle though.Gill05/09/2018
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Felt like a long walk to this, however the track is excellent if a little muddy in places. Very windy today, evidence in the picture! Felt proud to look to the surrounding hills and count how many trigs I'd already bagged some very recently!thejackrustles31/05/2015
