Parked at the Mart and walked up tarred road to house on the bend before continuing uphill on a grassy track past the wind turbine and through a series of gate/stiles with one just before you reach the open hillside near the top.Jossker16/12/2023

Lovely walk up on grassy track from layby parking at NJ 5168 3914carole engel21/10/2018
This has been on the to do list for far too long, probably because every time I attempt to do it and decide I can't park at Beech Croft bungalow the steep drop down to the parking puts me off. However today was the day, the bit from the car to the bungalow was definitely the steepest section and once on the green lane the bushes provided quite a lot of shelter from the wind. Easy enough route up, just very very muddy. Once on the top fantastic views but very windy and cold, sheltered in some bushes for lunch and then off down to the car. Lovely blue skies all the way there and back, blessed.thejackrustles26/12/2017
