From A96, headed W up through fields (sheep grazing) | 187lenny | 28/01/2024 |

The A96 here has already been widened and dualled (with fast moving traffic) as part of the Scottish Govts plan to dual carriageway the whole of the A96 between Aberdeen & Inverness by 2030. This oddly named hill has sacrificed a slice of its footslope for this widening but there is still plenty of hill left. Dusk ascent - bull in 1st field was luckily in far corner where it stayed just staring at me and on my descent. 2nd field -full of sheep which all flocked and ran away then changed their minds and ran back towards me before stopping to stare unsure what to do next, then did something similar on my descent when they were also joined by a horse which had appeared on the scene to see what was going on. | Chris Pearson | 30/10/2020 |
