From the gravel pit at 718311. Uphill from 686310 heading SW to Meall Ard then Creag na h Iolaire before reaching this wonderful remote summit on a glorious day. Headed south to Creag Mhor with Jon Glew, Dangerous Dave and Helen B. Great views of the northern highlands.bolton12/11/2023

From Creag Mhor. Back to the col and the peat hags now mercifully with the wind and showers behind me. Once over the hags the terrain was better on Ben Armine than Creag Mhor with shorter vegetation and more even ground. Descended NW to near point 595, then down Coire na Saidhe Duibhe, not really too bad. Then NE back to the good track north back to the bike on the main Badanloch track. 55 minutes back on the bike with a tailwind in places.Owen B19/09/2023
Biked in to the start of the old stalkers path. Great road and views. After Creag Mhor, lots of hideous hags between and on the descent.iangalbraith28/07/2023
From Creag Mhor having earlier come round the hill track from the north that contours round the east side of Ben Armine. From bealach between CM & BA going is good initially in grassy tussocks but soon on to bare stony ground (met a couple of Ptarmigans wandering around) to reach the flat mossy summit with small cairn.Jossker03/09/2022
Wrote twice to Badanloch Estate to ask permission to drive down private road but no response, so took that to mean I had not refused and drove down - not a road but a decent track. Parked in large quarry NC 7182 3110. Continued west, walking and found a smaller quarry at NC 6933 3980 which also provided parking.carole engel23/06/2022
From Creag Mor, easy stroll up on lovely dry, springy mossy vegetation. Extensive views. A real sense of isolation up there. On to Meall nan Aighean, down it's NE face (still incredibly dry underfoot) to stalkers; path, L to track and cycled out. 16m on bike, 12m on foot, 8.5 hrs. An outstanding day.MichaelF19/05/2022

Together with Creag Mhor. Long day. Returned via stalkers track which was much appreciated.Crumblie223/06/2021
Rode in from east, but missed the bike parking spot and did about 2km more than I should. otherwise followed SMC route. 10 hours altogether! Fabulous views. Lots of wildlife - deer, lapwing, oystercatchers, etc. The drive up through Strath of Kildonan is beautiful.IanHHill08/06/2021
From tent next to track just north of this group. Straight uo through tussocky grass to Meall nan Aighean, west to Ceag nan h-Lolaire, then direct line to Ben Armine (Creag a Choire Ghlain?) and the long plod out to Creag Mhor. North to path, down to junction with track and back north to tent.dickscroop11/08/2020

Ben Armine group from start of track to E on B871. Long walk in with bright sunshine and views across Loch Badanloch to Ben Loyal in the distance. Left track to climb Creag na h-Iolaire then along ridge to Meall nan Aighean, Ben Armine, Creag Mhor. Return N then descent Coir' an Eas to reach path running to E of ridge. Camped overnight under Ben Armine. Rain during the long walk back along track.RobertP08/07/2019
Superb weather. Cycled from Garvault Hotel via Badanloch along excellent estate road. Picked up stalkers paths to col. Long day but an excellent one amongst true remoteness.trimarc215/05/2019

Cycled in from Badanloch Lodge on good track easily in 1 hour 15 had to Ben Armine & Creag Mhòr in trainers because in forgot my boots 6 hours, no problems luckily it was in middle of heat wave.rogreeves02/07/2018
A strong headwind made an otherwise easy bike ride challenging. Dropped the bike by a gravel pit above Loch Trudascaig. Up easy stuff to cross the path onto the NE ridge of Meall nan Aighean, short heather towards the top gave temporary relief from rough stuff. Traversed around the side of the hill to a hagged section, and escaped to climb easy stony ground, then shaggy green moss to the top of Ben Armine. Fine views. Very nice descent on dry stony ground, then a raised bog, then down into the stream way. Up to Creag Mhor, at first weaving around hags and pools. The steeper part was much nicer dry ground, past a curious square cairn, to the summit. Down keeping right of the hags, and contouring back to the same point at the col, and then rising traverse to meet the path. On the track below Ben Armine, then bee-line back to the bike. Hints and tips: it is a really easy bike ride, and the hill isn’t nearly as remote as it’s made out to beGill05/05/2018
Cycled in - 65 mins. Then 2 tops before both Grahams.NormanW19/05/2017

With permission from Loch Choire estate manager (in Aberdeen) drove 6 miles west from Badanloch to small quarry. On track and stalkers path right round to bealach and up on grass and moss to top. Mist, rain, no view.arranc21/06/2015

W Jenx got permission to drive past Gearnsary to small quarry CP on left just over stream bridge. Walked across moor, over stalkers track and the two GTG, Armine and Creag Mhor (watch the hags between). Great day, sparkling views. Back along stalkers path - reasonable going - then same line back across moor.nordicstar04/06/2014
