Verge parking at disused pit on track to Clearfield (NO 4732 9924). Walked ~200m along track then peeled off NNE for a near enough direct line to the hill top. Some moderately dense broom to negotiate a route through. | jonglew | 27/12/2021 |
From S, parked a short way up track marked Pit (dis). Up thru dense patch of broom we'd likely have avoided to R had it not been foggy. Nice inversion at summit. Then on to Molloch. | RHW | 27/12/2021 |

Lunchtime outing from hidden carpark by Deeside Way. Easy ascent from south through fields, gates and hillside recently scraped clear of broom and gorse. Distinct summit then easily down north through grassy scattered trees to track and on to Mulloch. Returned same way over this summit again retracing outward route as easier than trying to skirt around. | Chris Pearson | 21/11/2019 |

Parked at NO 46915 99072. Best to approach the top from the north side. Top difficult to determine because of the vegetation. | andrew brown | 24/12/2017 |
