Drove up road to windfarm, walked through field (crop stubble) to trig. | 187lenny | 28/01/2024 |

A day like no other - this the last of 13 hills (5 mins across field to trig from top of windfarm track) bagged on a work day - 4 at dawn before school and 9 after school closed its gates at 3.30pm indefinitely along with all others in UK.. for we don't know how long due to Coronavirus. Social distancing and Self isolation now the new mantra -which fits well with solo hillbagging. Driving back through Inverurie the few pubs, and restaurants open about to close on order of the Govt. -along with sports centres, gyms, libraries etc. | Chris Pearson | 20/03/2020 |
Agree the trig seems higher. | Dave McG | 04/03/2020 |
Open, unlocked (and no padlock dangling) gate at NJ 716402, so drove up to park by turbine at NJ 7130 3969. No gate so one fence climb. Trig possibly higher | carole engel | 21/11/2019 |
7th of 11. Parked at bottom of track from Bankhead, easy walk from there. Trig point looks like summit though map suggests a higher point further east. | govanah | 30/10/2019 |
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log:

Stroke of luck here as the wind farm gate (NJ 71614 40214) was open and the guy at the reception said (a) we could drive up (b) he'd be there for a while. Headed for closest turbine and parked up. Still had to cross a couple of fences but easy enough (although Mr U2 said I made it look hard as usual). | thejackrustles | 25/08/2018 |
