P at start of track to Ashley Grange. Through gate and up the field to the top.chrisbien20/11/2021
The by now familiar 4*4 and hostile reception waiting at the stile. Fortunately I was bike touring so no plates. Up from Inverurie on the way to ride the beaches between Newburgh and Fraserburgh. Now well and truly puggled.fasgadh31/07/2020
Not much to report from a brief visit to the summit field edge in an icy rain shower, but in getting here was the first time I've visited Inverurie down in the valley. Quirky facts about the town include its changed its name spelling from Inverury in 1866 as the mail was going to Inverary in Argyle be mistake! Also it still has the wonderfully named Inverurie Loco Works football team (Highland League) that maintains the memory of the large 15 acre site loco building and repair works that was here. (closed in 1969). The web also spuriously claims Inverurie is the fastest growing town in GB, although from the congestion on the A96 of standing homeward bound commuter traffic from Aberdeen which I got caught in after visiting this hill maybe this is true.Chris Pearson29/01/2020

Good roadside parking on concrete slab, mind the concrete block walls, opposite the gate. A bit muddy at the gate, otherwise a very easy stroll.Minto17/03/2018
Just 150 metres up from the road across field with fenced enclosure just to the south across the wall.vegibagger23/04/2016
