After buying 6 pairs of £1 reading glasses from Poundland in Inverurie - to stock up against inevitable future losses/ breakages. Didn't need any of them to see the 4 cattle that came charging towards me in the summit field. I successfully ran back and over the gate! 10 mins of stand off before I could summon up the courage to bluff dominance and walk past them - as they thankfully just peered expectantly at their empty hay feeder. Vegibagger describes well the modern summit memorial stone circle to a local farmer (just 54yrs old). One stone now cemented aside and engraved. On descent kept to dead ground to avoid my waiting friends. | Chris Pearson | 09/10/2020 |

unexpected items in bagging area have included a small Stone circle 1,2,3,4,5,6 stones and one 7th standing stone, a grave looks like it's from 2 and a half years ago for someone but has never be filled in, Has some fresh-ish flowers there. and some fencing around it. Thirdly a very long pole on the actual summit with some electrical box on it lie-ing on the ground. This is my 100th of Aberdeenshire TuMPs. Only about 15% | vegibagger | 12/06/2018 |
