From Rosal CP (NC690426). Bike to NC 71901 35153, turning left just before Dalharrold bridge and right soon after. Easy through gaps to summit area of hill 9584. Wide ride with vehicle tracks from S of hill 9584 summit to open ground a few hundred metres south of target summit. Back same way.mae10/08/2018
Up from track to the east noting Rob's comment. Failed first attempt after minutes in burn, tussocks and dense forest. re-started where red paint on tree and duckboard across ditch. Argo has cleared a tunnel through to clearing at circular sheep fank.Eddie18/08/2016
There's probably an easy way to the top of this Hump but for me this was my worst hill in years. Coming from Cnoc na Gamhna, the col was completely blocked by vast areas of windthrow, which took me an hour and much stress to negotiate. I found a firebreak for descent but in a short while this too was subject to the same obstacles. Four and a half hours passed, quite unbelievably, before I emerged from the horror.Colin Crawford19/06/2016
