| Visiting the cairn here had become my favourite place to go, a short walk from my house and hidden away in the trees from the footpaths that surrounded it. Unfortunately the loggers have been in and the cairn sits in the middle of the devastated remains, a real shame, though the cairn is very easy to spot now. | PDuncan82 | 12/05/2021 |

| Cutting things a bit fine, as on way to Aberdeen from Banchory to get a coach to Glasgow for OMM weekend near Largs. Lovely early morning rising sun coming through the trees below the canopy. Made my coach with 20 mins in hand after a fast 4 km walk through town. | Chris Pearson | 25/10/2019 |
