Drove up track to radar compound carpark- outside security fence. Walked to the high point external to the fence- gorse mound within.Denise 19/09/2022
As others, walked along the track around the fence to the highest point adjacent to the horse mound inside the fence……which is impenetrable….govanah19/09/2022
Drove up track and parked in the MOD car park. Walked around perimeter fence but higher ground inside. After a little soul searching decided to claim it anyway.RichardM19/09/2022
CP adjacent to compound. Followed track W and N then through gate to highest external point.chrisbien20/11/2021
Second attempt. Phoned and was told that no entry allowed - for various reasons. A lot of construction ongoing.dave g06/03/2021

Retrospective log. With HP being moved to the fenceline seems reasonable to tick this one off as would have been only a few metres from it with head well above the HP.jonglew25/10/2019
Visited highest possible point but not ticked; (edit: decided to tick this after talking to rhw and in light of the new summit position. Standing by the fence your head is well above the top, it seems a bit daft for a summit like this to get overly purist and everyone's ticking it anyway).Dave McG25/10/2019
A case can be made for ticking highest legally accessible point, but I didn't. Got my head above natural HP of W summit with radome, but E summit higher, probably by c1m, has 100m co on OSMaps, with FB of ex trig pillar to NE of that contour recorded as 100.809m; fence gets to about 97m some way N of summit. Ex trig site main reason for visitRHW08/06/2019

MOD site all fenced in. Although I rang the number, spoke to someone and he came to the gate, it was hardly a surprise that he said sorry mate. Outside compound on west seemed as high as the artificial looking mound in the compound that looked like it was excavations fron foundations for the radar golf ballvegibagger18/04/2016
