Roadside parking at Mid Dale (HU 1872 5278). Followed fenceline up to open moorland then direct to hill top.jonglew27/06/2019
Pretty tedious long plod across peat jagged moorland with quite syringe winds but even an occasional shaft of sunlight to sparkle of lochans and bring a brief bit of cheer. Clockwise circuit offer this and then Sandness hill.vegibagger11/06/2019
From S, parked at junction, E along road a short way to footpath sign, immediately R for bridge by ruin. Plenty Bonxie action on upper slopes. Small peat hag HP. Then to coast to look at the stacks, superb. Intermittently rainy to days endRHW10/06/2019
Circular from Mid Dale out to Sandness Hill.Smudge29/05/2013
