The calm in the eye of Storm Bella. Stunningly clam and sunny as today the isobars have unbelievably drifted apart to leave Shetland in a calm bubble of peace after yesterday's Severe Gale Force 9 winds (equally stunning) which today are hitting Wales. A 2hr hard hill run with L from the N -up the crest path then sheep tod to summit. Marvellous views down the length of Clift Sound. Picked out our house - as we can see this hill from our window. Continued down south to sea level at Wester Quarf then after L stroked the pigs -tackled the boggy drag up Muskna Field. Pretty much same on return coming back up track that gains the ridge just south of the summit to enjoy the run and sea views down the ridge we first came up.Chris Pearson27/12/2020
