From NNE, large layby, haggy ascent, summit marker small standing stone with two horseshoes. | RHW | 12/06/2019 |
From Upper Urrafirth. Got permission from delightful elderly farmer to park next to No Parking sign and then he gave me access through his “garden”. Initially sheep pasture before a peat track took me halfway. Then peat hacks in abundance. Summit has a small pointed stone adorned with two horseshoes. Heavy drizzle but reasonable visibility. Pretty desolate. On return, friendly farmer said that it would have been an easier ascent from the south. | Campbell Singer | 10/06/2019 |
