I agree with Bob's log below. Another Shetland gem.Thearlaichdubh05/08/2021
Dropped off just after high tide at base of ascent route by tender. Steeply up then simple trek over to summit. Lovely views. With Charlie Scott.assynt_bob05/08/2021
Hairy drive along much rougher than expected, track. Totally unsuitable fire any noon 4x4 high clearance vehicle. It took half my exhaust off...!!vegibagger19/06/2019
From HU 3249 9170 after being dropped off by landrover. Track from North Roe is in poor state, but most likely navigable with a normal 4x4; 2WD vehicles unlikely to have sufficient ground clearance. From drop off point took a direct line to the island, probably not a huge amount of time either side of low tide to navigate the intertidal strand. Steep grassy slope down and a scramble up, then a further 1km of easy walking to island summit. Trig bolt not found, only a witness rivet.jonglew12/06/2019
Landrover from North Roe, track leads to a gate with steep grass and easy scrambly rock leading to beach, cross tidal channel (best within 1hr of low tide, almost a spring today). Pass L of small stack, easy slabby rock, path leads R across slightly loose terrain to grass above. Bagged Rotten Stacks West on way back, 28-29m, easy scramble then slightly hair raising arete, a little loose in places, a little windy but ok. Not quite tidal, 1ft wade at low spring tideRHW12/06/2019
Superb island accessed at low tide . OS Rivet near summit cairn.chalky195306/06/2013
