With L up and down via the boggy scrapings of a track from Eswick where one of the few keep out signs on Shetland deters an approach past a new build to the fine looking sweep of beach of Es Wick. Odd to read of the previous 1905 lighthouse east of the summit falling into the sea in a landslip in Nov 1994 as lighthouses are invariably associated with being beacons of safety. Long road walk back to the car at Vassa Hall being passed both ways by the post van on its very scenic but uneconomical call of duty to deliver the post to a few outlying houses.Chris Pearson12/04/2021
Parked roadside, at start of a farm track (HU 4842 5402). Pleasant early evening stroll over 4 hills: The Noup -> Moul of Eswick -> Stockan -> Ling Ness.jonglew14/06/2019
From The Noup. Followed track from the end of turning head.Adrian14/06/2019
Fourth of four. Car parked at start of Ling Ness track. For Moul I followed the track up to Muckle Loch. Very blowy indeed.Campbell Singer13/06/2019
