Day trip from Stromness. Pleasant walk round the island to bag this hill, the 2 lighthouses, and half a dozen benchmarks. A leisurely 10k over 4 hrs.jonglew29/07/2022
Chilly weather but dry. Cycled (with kids in buggy behind bike to near summit). Left them with Sarah and quickly bagged summit. Summit bag had been done after visiting both lighthouses. Nice island and the bonus was the heating in the waiting room.assynt_bob31/03/2018
Hastily arranged pm trip to Graemsay after the haar came in and scuppered our planned Copinsay boat trip. With the Mackays, Jon Metcalf et al. Grass damp so I mostly kept to the road. Farmer on big tractor stopped by to tell me about the corncrake, first they've had for a while. Found me again later to see if I'd heard it (sadly not).RHW03/06/2014
Early ferry from Stromness to Hoy and then Graemsay with Jim Bloomer and Tricky Speirs. Used main road to get to the north of Windbreck Farm then used a line of gates to make a relatively direct ascent of West Hill.Dugswell202/06/2014
