About 7pm, after all the tourists had left. When we'd landed a week earlier by charter boat I elected to visit The Brough knowing I was returning to Stronsay. Parked by Kirbister and took the path to the coast and The Vat. Well worth a look. Continued along coastal path and then easily up to gate to summit field. Returned same way. | Minto | 10/08/2022 |
Landed at the Stronsay jetty on NE side where we were met by two taxis. Four of us first to SE summit of the island and trug S4735, then to wind farm TuMP summit and trig 10802 across the heather from the nearest access from the track near windmill. Finally up to the north of the island for the third trig pillar. 20792 | vegibagger | 10/08/2022 |

Landed by tender at Lambs Bay (HY 6898 2157). Lots of fences, many electric, if taking a direct route. High point probably at the low mound at what seems to be a wartime building base, ~25m due S of the trig pillar. | jonglew | 03/08/2022 |
Stronsay HP. Landed in Lamb Bay on shingle. Followed coastal track NW then grassy track NE via farm ( friendly farmer) to trig in corner of field. HP at cairn by concrete platform nearby. With tender to Brimoy , Northerly Marine. | Denise | 03/08/2022 |
Landed by tender with others at Lamb Bay/Hells Mouth and up through Cleat Farm and tracks to top. Cows and electric fences typically Orcadian. | NormanW | 03/08/2022 |
My route is as described by Denise. Jonglew went for a more direct approach. Farmer friendly enough, as were the cows. Electric fences easy to crawl under! | Dangerous Dave | 03/08/2022 |

Fourth of 7 on a day planned by Bob and Sarah Kerr and superbly executed by Northerly Marine Services from Kirkwall on a beautiful sunny day. Eased the pain slightly by getting a £15 taxi to take us close to high point. | Thearlaichdubh | 02/08/2019 |
