Solo. Walked down the croft and along the cliffs, and beack up the common. Then followed the track until the turn off to a path leading directly to the summit. Some boggy peat needed jumped over. | RufusHodge | 15/07/2023 |
Up the ATV track as others. Went to look at the 2 navigation stations on the way back | Hirta | 19/06/2023 |
Parked in a large parking area where the road ends in Upper Bayble. A simple walk up the stone track and then ATV track to the top. | summitter | 15/06/2023 |

A decent track for most of the way. With CM. | bolton | 11/09/2022 |
Parking at end of road. Followed track to summit are through pest cuttings. Boggy flattish summit. Abney used to determine HP - not at cairn. | Denise | 20/05/2022 |
Flew across from Edinburgh for a family get together. Picked up the hire car and round to Point for the three high points. This was the second of the afternoon. Parked at the end of the track to the weather radar. Walked along the gravel track before following track across the peat cutting area. Curiosity took me back across to the Stornoway DVOR navigational aid for a closer look. | Buck | 27/08/2021 |
Drove part way along radar access track, then across spongy heather, grass etc. HP on a peat hag which hadn't been cut. | jonglew | 16/05/2017 |
N slab 118, s slab higher despite only 100co on map, sighting from s to n, n summit just coincides with sea level horizon | RHW | 17/06/2016 |
Walked up to the summit which has been used for peat cutting for years so the summit has fuelled local fires for years. | Dugswell2 | 12/06/2016 |
From ssw. 89 spot ht about right. The two 85m spots to N obviously lower. However the SE summit beyond the weather radar tower visited, as looks as high although spot ht only 87m. Sunny start to another v windy showery day | RHW | 05/05/2016 |
