From the parking area opposite the barns, just before the cattle grid 354304. Over cattle grid followed ATV track up LHS of fence, steep at first) up to ridge line, then fairly directly to summit between various rocky outcrops and avoiding the wet bits. Expect this could be quite a confusing hill in mist. Returned same route. 2.4 miles round trip. Took about 40mins to the summit.JulieB23/05/2023
Arnaval from GR: NG 35798 30452ronaldo33311/05/2022
parked the car near a gate on the right at the high point of the road, fairly straight forward walk up the hill. Rocks exposed are the slippy variety. With Martin Scoular. Great views out to sea.tallblond18/09/2021
Walk from parking area near pt188. Misty so no views today.willyross14/07/2021
From parking space opposite the cattleshed. Easy stroll up through one of the gullies and across the moor to topMatt290111/04/2021
Quick dash from Carbostbeg. Up the road, then went due N from 130m contour. Remnants of ATV track above 250m. Descended SE ridge to road at shielings.quadbarrel14/07/2020
A great walk from a parking place opposite some barns on the Carbost side of the cattle grid. Permission to park was granted readily, but would recommend future baggers also ask. Easy path up the fence, then along a nice turf wall to a steep climb onto the sloping plateau. Several small bumps to climb or dodge, then a nice steep climb to the top and fabulous views. Easy going all the way.Gill03/10/2019

From just after high point (188m on O/S). Parking spot, through gate into new field, out at top gate, easier going than the hill tussocks. Sunny, breezy good views but thin.iangalbraith23/04/2019
Summit had a fortress of rock defending it. Veered to the right, followed in the corridor and scrambled up the rocky wall to the trig point. cold but dry. Special day with GmacTelizyanne14/04/2019
From Stockval. Appreciated the Stockval massif, not apparent whilst climbing it. Starting to feel a bit wobbly as not eaten much and further to the summit than anticipated but beautiful walking with views of mountains and water all around. Back to road for 7 and hot footed it to the Old Inn at Carbost.Wycombe Wanderer31/03/2019
From the road junction at NG 372310, on account of the road W beyond being very nastily snowy and icy. Up road to NG 357304, then N around E side of a fence, then over a PWF just below nose of Na Huranan. Around various bogs and false tops to rocky tor of a summit (grassy bank on other side). Came up behind a Golden Eagle, perched on a small rock, about 10 metres away, until it turned its head slightly and saw me.Isbjorn23/01/2019
