After the marilyn, not easy to reach in the time allotted on the island, rough going most of the way with extensive areas of puffin burrows to negotiate. Large boulders made for interesting scrambling on approach to the summit. | jonglew | 18/09/2017 |
Fairly easy scramble to summit. Unexpected large cairn - possibly the only summit cairn on Dun. Be warned - acres of fragile puffin burrows need to be negotiated to reach this summit - slow painstaking progress. Lovely viewpoint. Stacs Lee and Armin very slimy, too much swell to land.
