Logged Descriptions  (logged by 37 users)ByDate of Ascent
I clearly never found the easier routes mentioned - constant battle but at least some shelter from the rain.Buck21/02/2024
From the Todholes CP by the dam (NS 6726 8589). Logging road most of the way. Left the road ~70m NE from where it crosses Bin Burn, sparse conifers mostly, then a narrow band to push through. Retraced steps back to the road and up to Meikle Bin.jonglew31/08/2023
Via the main car park by the dam by bike. They have slapped another pound on the charge again and closed the trail centre, so parked elsewhere. Hill ascended from the singletrack between the Bins with no arboreal struggles whatsoever. But- brutally steep.fasgadh26/04/2023
As others, from the path between the Bins! Key is not to go too early, wait til SW of summit where a faint deer path traces up the other side. By this point you outflank the trees. Not unpleasant, but the bigger hill definitely the better, if busier.Belfarm 24/05/2022
Had not seen Brian’s route so had forest thrash. Some open parts. NS6667782939 from col and came out at NS6692982941 at edge of open area.Adrian30/09/2021
From Todholes CP. Follow Meikle Bin route to W. of summit of Little Bin go left to follow path waymarked Main Carpark. When SW of the summit you will see a clear fell route to the summit. Only light brash under foot but no problem.bjewing03/04/2021
Dire from Todholes CP. Thrash up through dense forest from col between Bins. Good views from top. Easier to spot gaps on way down. Never again.Thearlaichdubh24/12/2020

Via Corrie en route to Cort ma Law east toplordtonult22/11/2020
On my own while the rest of GHC did the Marilyn. Choose a route up through the forest. Not too bad but was glad to see daylight. Windy day.Play2End13/01/2019
From signpost 15. We had just come from Meikle Bin, from which a reasonable route could be seen: Google satellite also shows where the big gaps are. Down and up were both steep and awkward but hey, we're all used to that.Pete R12/01/2019
Down Meikle Bin, across burn and up through gap in the forestry.summitter20/08/2018
from parking opp todholes, track up to col then along edge of trees between LB and MB final push through the trees.robertphillips02/07/2018
From Todholes CP, taking the track from signpost 15 that runs between the two Bins. A hundred yards or so after the col, it is possible to cross the valley fairly easily, outflanking the trees on Little Bin by making for the ridgeline and walking a short distance North to the summit. Returning by the main car park makes a pleasant circuit of the reservoir.Nick Down126/06/2018
From Todholes. Jog/walk up to col. Path from post 15 to Main Car Park, no use, apart from a view of trees, as deep valley to stream soon forms. Some crawling required both up and down, so can't have found the easiest line.Minto07/05/2017
From Todholes. To top of track then E through trees some awful some good breaks.chrisbien14/04/2017
Forest road from Todholes, then track to 'Main Car Park' rather overgrown, across gully to south side of LB and steep grass over remains of tree-felling (not recent).neimcv25/08/2016
M J O. From todholes ar park towards Meikle Bin then between 2 hills and up. Clearance area in trees. Natural tree regen stRting on summit area.Martin6605/06/2016
Kilsyth/Garrel Hill/Little Bin/Cort-ma-Law E Top/Cort-ma-Law/Campsie Glen: ascended Little Bin from a little southeast of the col with Meikle Bin (where there is a sizable gap in the trees on both hills).campagvelocet07/08/2014
