Revisit from Todholes via Cringate Law & North Top, back S to minor road. | agentmancuso | 20/04/2023 |
Via the reservoir track. | hillsman | 18/05/2022 |
Hart Hill and Cringate Law from Easter Cringate and back via Cringate and the road. Boggy but nae too bad. | sclater | 09/08/2021 |
From near cattle grid on minor road south of Hart Hill to join turbine road on sunniest day of the year. Directly down to Reservoir and up to Earl's Hill. Retraced route to cottage and on to upper reservoir to rejoin turbine roads to Cringate Law. Easy going return to car over sheep grazing. | lordtonult | 17/03/2021 |
Parked at start of Earlsburn reservoir track. Up track to westmost point of lower reservoir, up to Hart Hill, straight over to Cringate Law, windfarm track to 417m top, across upper dam, SE towards lower reservoir then E and S through the trees to NS 713887, up to Earl's Hill, due S to road and 600m back to the car. | TRG318 | 02/12/2020 |
Parked just beyond the track leading to Cringate. Took this path until the forest end, where a signpost directs one along the Endrick Water, to its junction with the Turbine road. Simply a matter of then going clockwise along this road, via Cringate Law then Hart Hill, leaving a pleasant grassy descent from the final turbine southwards to the C-road and the car. | summitter | 09/05/2020 |
Plenty of parking at Easter Cringate road end for reservoir and ATV to windfarm road from N end of reservoir. Nice hills apart from the windmills. | Thearlaichdubh | 24/12/2019 |

Circuit from Carron Reservoir. | chalky1953 | 18/12/2017 |
Parked east of Easter Cringate, then walked up easy, if dampish, slopes to Hart Hill before crossing a little labyrinth of ridges not apparent from the map to reach Cringate Law and contouring back south of the nearest wind turbines. | Nick Down1 | 19/07/2016 |
From ssw, cattle grid, grassy summit near wind turbine. Then to Cringate | RHW | 09/04/2016 |
From SSW, parking just E of cattle grid. Straight up to wind turbine, then followed road to summit. Very cloudy, so couldn't even see top of tower. | Minto | 04/01/2016 |
