Evening jog. Tracks / paths the whole way up from Menstrie.Tisteln15/01/2024
As Dangerous Dave. Then on to Colsnaur, Bengengie and Mid Cairn (Craig Leith) to complete Clackmannanshire..Campbell Singer20/07/2023
Up fae the Myreton on the track that initially heads ENE. On to Colsnaur. Easy, grassy tracks.sclater14/12/2022
Up the zigzags from Menstrie. There is a sharp bend left in the path where you leave it and follow a grass track which heads out E, skirting the little minor top with lovely views out across the Forth Valley. The track leads up to a wall which is followed to the area by the cairn. Superb views. High point is set further back. Steep descent ENE by deer fence down to ale then Burn then up to Colsnaur Hill. CW route from Menstrie after Brown Hill.bjewing27/03/2021
From Menstrie up the zigzags. Went too far and ended up round the back, but it was a pleasant place and so we carried on a bit. Coming back, there is an unmapped deer fence, E-W, not far north of the summit. Came down the typically Ochil SW ridge to about NS856977 before turning NW to avoid the crags and return to the track.Pete R12/09/2020
Up the calcite path from Menstrie and followed the good path round the outside of the new plantation to the summit. Very pleasant walk.Thearlaichdubh15/09/2019
Up the stunning Alva Glen from the car park, crossing on to the west side and a steep climb to Mid Cairn. Pleasant grassy path to Bengengie Hill then a boggy crossing of the Balquhain Burn to a stone wall. A path on the west side of this wall leads straightforwardly to Colsnaur Hill then down to Myreton Hill. A SE descent over grassy hillocks eventually brought us to an ATV trail, which led down to a builders yard (I think) then Back Road. The walker friendly Back Road leads straight back to Alva Glen car park. 3 hours in total.summitter01/09/2019
From Colsnaur Hill. Followed path south from CH down beside fence an wall. Crossed the fence at Second style to descend between fence and wall into the col. From there steeply up to top of hill. Off the top to west to rejoin Zigzag track back to carJubilado29/04/2019

Minto's route to Myreton Hill. Then down to the col, over the stile and up to the cairn on Colsnaur with its fence post, before taking tracks SW to return to the zig-zag gravel track. A wonderful crimson sunset over Ben Vorlich.Nick Down124/05/2018

From Menstrie, parked by park. Up farm track round ziz zags. Where track levels off at a bend NW, headed NE on path, and then up to summit. Clockwise round with Coalsnaur, Bengengie and Mid Cairn (Craig Leith). With Dugswell, Norman, Nigel and Gavin.Minto22/06/2017
Parked in Menstrie then up track before going off-piste to avoid gate and plantation to Myreton Hill. Then steeply down beside fence to climb back up to Colsnaur Hill, climbing a handy style halfway up. Then across to Bengengie Hill before descending the ridge to Mid Cairn [Craig Leith]. Then down to the sheepfold and across the dam back towards Menstrie with Jonathon, Norman, Nigel and Gavin.Dugswell222/06/2017

From Menstrie Scout Hut. Up the zig zag track until the new forest gate. Then across the new plantation to the top. Would have been easier not to go through the gate. Lovely crisp morning. Snow.Play2End13/01/2016
