|parked to the east opp gate with path sign, down through 2 gates and up through mature well spaced trees to the top. pheasant pens/feeders on top.||robertphillips||27/01/2019|
|Parked by gate for footpath then fields to woods. No cattle in residence but the signs of their prior presence was all too evident, the grass muddy and pitted||Colin Crawford||15/11/2017|
|No trouble with cattle on this occasion, the gate on to the tarmac road was lying open. Walked to the old barn then across a sort of ditch to get to the top.Not sure if the high point was within the pheasant area or just outside so visited both.||NormanW||06/09/2017|
|As Alda, parked by gate at start of public footpath. Lots of notices about cows - who were there. So walked up road and entered their field near the corner. Followed wall/fence downhill to gate at bottom without incident. Along track past byre, almost to wood on right where double gate gives access to field. Straight up towards power lines through wood, and another gate gives access. Avoided the populated pheasant pens and up to summit. Back the same way.||Minto||24/06/2017|
|From the minor road. Bull and cows in field where footpath goes impeded access. Took adjacent field to byre then across the field to the summit woods.||Play2End||23/06/2016|
|P start of track to Craigfarg. QB's below the summit of Temple Hill. Walked on to Blair Hill then Glenfarg Head and back to car before the rain set in
GH open gate into wood.||chrisbien||19/06/2016|
|Ditto alda, more or less. No paths, two rather unwelcoming horses and no summit seemed obvious.||Topographer57||06/04/2016|
|Parked on verge by signposted path to Black Craig at NO105122. Easy grassy fields round east and south edge of trees, gate into open walkable wood, obvious summit at base of tree. Returned via path through wood.||alda||01/06/2015|
