Parked at track to SW. Then electric fence to cross into fort area. Path up through gorse, the ramparts are readily observed. The hp is on the SE side, not too far from a cairn at the North end. Quite an impressive wee hill.NormanW18/04/2022

Parked at quarry. Parking opposite track start would block access for tractors.duchally02/02/2022

P entry to disused quarry. Along rd to track then diagonally up. Highest point seems to be the RHS of entrance. Walked through fort and along SE rim plus high point.chrisbien22/08/2015

Unnatural looking but interesting hill, with a narrow rim and cliffs on the steep south face. 26 of 32.alda30/05/2015
Plenty of parking at road junction to NE. Or space for 1 car opposite start of track at edge of forest. Impressive summit earthworks - visited several high points, as well as the highest point within the fort walls which is probably the natural summit of the hill.Minto05/07/2014
