Access through gorse tricky. Also visited the trig which was a doddle.Play2End29/11/2023
Bagging the nearby trig, so cut across and nabbed this wee rascal as well. With CJ.BigJ24/09/2023
Up to the farm.. So for quick enquirey if its okay to drive further up track to inspect the trig pillar. Yes it's in a crowd fields but you can walk up the tyre tracks. Bit rough fur my VOVO... but manageable. Job done but notice slightly higher area 3-400metres eat and wonder if it might even be a TuMP.. Quick check yes p33. Tight timing for getting into Edinburgh but go for it.vegibagger11/07/2023
From the carnmore junction, along track to just before the gate. Little drop in the wall at the electric fence corner where the lowest strand is highest. Go directly across the field, and just left of the corner there's a couple of animal furrows showing where the lower strand is highest, the second left furrow is easier! Once in the trees, cut directly right to pick up a faint path running just parallel and inside the fence which takes you directly to the summit which is now fairly obvious. Easiest return is the same way.Belfarm 24/11/2022
Parked at the crossroads to the north. Very easy walk along tarmac road, over a gate into arable field to the trig. No fences. The Fife Flyer21/02/2021
From Burnside. Crawled under the (live) electric fences. Difficult to pinpoint the summit so walked around a bit in the general area. Had a look at the nearby trig (from field edge, as field had been newly sown) and then went over to Bramblebrae.Fife Walking04/11/2020
Parked at Carmore road end. Bike to edge of scarp, under electric fence x 2 into felled woodland. Visited several candidates. On to Bramblebraefasgadh05/08/2020
Parked at Bramblebrae cemetery and walked along road to highpoint, then through field guarded by live electric fence to wood where I could crawl under the fence. Wood is being felled so possible to see several high points 70m from edge of field. Did the trig on the way back though in cultivated field.Thearlaichdubh26/10/2019
as others parked at bend, along track then over fence/wall across into woods.robertphillips29/01/2018
Trig and top. All in mist, the only hill of the day to be affected, bubbling up from below. The electric fences forced some unseemly crawlingColin Crawford21/12/2017
Top tip - electric fence not switched on - at least not today anyway. Did nearby trig as well ... well you have to, don't you?summitter19/11/2017
Drove along the tarmac road to where there is a junction to Carmore Farm. Parked there ( new houses being built and for sale at Carmore). Braved a live three-strand electric fence to approach the hill, but wimped out and came back along margin of newly planted fields to the South. Visited the adjacent trig point on the way back to the car.NormanW06/09/2017
From minor road jnct to NW. Entered wood at N end (not advised). SE then SW to exit. Difficult to say where the highest point is.chrisbien19/03/2017

Drove along tarmac road towards Carmore. Parked on bend at 153095. SSE along track, left under electric fence (not on), and field edge to woodland. Indistinct summit, might be under all the fallen trees.Minto12/07/2015
Left car parked at cemetery after Bramblebrae and walked along road & track to west of hill. Followed edge of field to summit wood.Lindsay M23/06/2015
Parking at NO148102. Along track and past the electric fence and into the wood through the gorse. Lovely wood.Play2End09/01/2015
