Parked by road junction to the east, crossed to gate with footpath sign and then ascended pleasant pasture land to the foot of the wood. Here there is a track up through the wood with two gates which are no problem. The summit is to the south of this track almost overlooking Drumchork Farm. No problems underfoot in winter conditions.JohnW10/04/2018

Pleasant stroll from road to east, then on to Easter Meiggar HillColin Crawford11/03/2016
Summit wood less pleasant than expected. Very long bracken, which was just beginning to sag, concealed debris from windblown trees. Numerous trip hazards - late summer probably not the best time to visit.Lindsay M30/08/2015
Pleasant open deciduous woods, easily reached via bridge from Easter Meiggar Hill.alda30/12/2014
