After early morning boat from Mallaig. With Penny (also on the boat and staying at the bunkhouse) Via nature walk then over Mullach Mor and north to coast, back from Kilmory. Misty but not real problems. Saw a red throated diver on one of the lochans.douglas_easton20/05/2023

Alone, straight of the boat, took 3 hrs.tallblond05/05/2023
We arrived on the aft ferry and pitched the tent. Then on the nature trail to where it turns down. There we doubled back on an ATV track hoping to avoid the soft ground. Stuck with it too long and prolonged the poor ground. Red.T Divers on the lochans. At the TP Tall Blonde arrived and introduced herself. Discussed RH Society for a while then we descended south to meet the path into the trees and back to the nature trail. With Tim.ChrisR05/05/2023

Day trip from Mallaig, nature trail past croft 3 then short distance NE up ATV track, then left up into forest and onto open hill to main ridge. Some bad ground in and just above forest, but it gets better higher up.Topographer5702/10/2019

From Kinloch via the Nature Trail to where it starts to descend then dog-legged back keeping to the rocky terraces - the grass in between is hard going.Chris Peart02/05/2019

From Orval, followed the path from where the Kilmory and Harris tracks meet. Kinloch River easily crossed. Then awkward terrain to the summit trig. Wasn't sure about getting down through the woodland so headed SSW to where the path enters the woodland, into the teeth of a gathering gale on rough terrain. Then followed the very pleasant and mostly sheltered and reasonably good path through the woods back to Kinloch.Owen B17/06/2018

From Rum bunkhouse. Via nature trail westwards along wall to above the craft/caravan. Here the path splits, heading down, heading along further into woods and a rough path/track heading up on a diagonal between the trees. Took this to top of tress then gained the ridge and over a few sandstone terraces to prominent trig. Fine day after light drizzle start. Red Throated Diver nesting on lockan at 1/2 - 3/4 height. Return same way.N.Morters19/06/2017
An afternoon stroll, via the Nature trail path and then up the hill once out of the woods. The first bit seriously rough, with knee deep pillowy mats of vegetables, holes, bogs etc., but there are nice sandstone pavements to walk on higher up. Exceptionally fine views of Skye, Knoydart, the Long Isle, Eigg, Canna, etc, so it's well worth the struggle.Gill09/06/2017
Didn't plan to bother with this hill, but a very poor forecast for the afternoon made it a good half days walk. Using the old path (now a nature trail) and going up by Allt Airigh Thalabhart worked well; a trail beyond this led to the headwaters of the next burn- both burns turned by the sandstone terraces which gave a satisfying route- much on rock pavements- to the summit. Glad the cloud stayed off though. Back a similar way.pwheeler06/06/2017
Sunny but very windy. A little stroll whilst waiting for the wind to die down tomorrow. Decided to walk on to Mam Tuath.Wycombe Wanderer30/04/2017
