Weather fair. | MountainMac | 22/10/2023 |
Easy from NW thanks to stile. Arwen had a go but movement in wood not hindered. | fasgadh | 03/05/2023 |

Parked at Luthrie village hall. | duchally | 25/02/2022 |
No problem with barbed wire but fierce looking herd of cows + calves in field nearest to high point. | russell61 | 28/05/2021 |
From Luthrie. Turned off road at track to Starrbank House, then followed fencline NNE to go through gate, then aimed for summit. Descended NW - cut my hand open trying to climb over some nasty barbed wire fences! | quadbarrel | 03/04/2021 |
With L, R & D | Janet M | 02/04/2021 |
Started from A913 lay-by near Glenduckie turn off. Picked up Fife Coastal Path, which was followed to Creich. Used key stile (mentioned by Fife Walking) to avoid issues with barbed wire fence. Pleasant summit wood. | Rod M | 02/04/2021 |
Key to a barb wire free ascent is a stile at NO 33425 20644 from woods into field. There are some fences and gates to climb to get into summit woods but these are straightforward. | Fife Walking | 19/03/2021 |
Last of the day with Brian. Quick. | Play2End | 07/03/2021 |
First hill of the day, tackled from the west, fences and not an easy approach | The Fife Flyer | 05/03/2021 |
Triple strand barbed wire fence had been erected but found a saf crossing point with help from an old fertiliser bag. Top in a scrubby bit of forest | Freefall | 30/12/2020 |
After Prospect Hill. Same route as October but walked from Luthrie rather than driving. | Thearlaichdubh | 26/12/2019 |
Park near road high point to NW, then fields to summit | Thearlaichdubh | 22/10/2019 |
Same as everyone else | Colin Crawford | 03/12/2017 |
From the minor road to the west, round a cropped field and over a good stile at (I think 33287 20471) then over last field to wood and high point. | NormanW | 12/08/2017 |
parked at gate to the west through field to stile at the corner, to edge of the woods. | robertphillips | 22/03/2017 |
As per Minto except there is now a style but with a barbed wire fence in front of it! | chrisbien | 14/02/2016 |
Easy parking at the house entrance, then across the fields to the woods. | Play2End | 01/01/2016 |
Ditto Minto. An old garment to drape over barbed fence helped. Did not stay long on summit, the guns sounded too close for comfort! | Topographer57 | 13/12/2014 |
From NW, parking by gate. Followed field edges, though grain crop had been harvested. 1 fence to climb at end of wood. Across pasture to gate N of summit. Wood is sparse, and summit easy to reach. | Minto | 25/10/2014 |
