GVP just inside entrance to Montquey, off the tarmac but told to move car to tighter location down track to loch. Gate at 20566 87571 is no longer openable but it still leads nicely up onto the summit ridge, thank you Fife Walking.Topographer5729/12/2023

Easy one this. Openable gate at NT 20566 87571 to access quarry track. Grassy track up hill then grassy path. No barb wire, fence/gate climbing involved !!!!Fife Walking29/01/2021
Got beaten to the one parking place on the road by seconds so plan B.A very kind local suggested parking at the quarry gate after pulling me out of a ditch last year. Simple ascent past interesting quarry. Sheep grazed summit with whins on the steep slopes.fasgadh05/07/2020
After Grangehill. Layby on A909 now blocked with large boulders. Parked at gate to hill down road to reservoir where road splits. Dodgy! Couldn't enjoy short walk for worrying about car. On to Pilkham Hills.russell6125/01/2020
Round of Montquey, Dunearn, Baspard, Orrock and Stoneyhall starting from Burntisland and walking up the side of the A909 which wasn't too busy at 10:00 on a Sunday. Track to summit from first gate on S edge of quarry.Thearlaichdubh29/09/2019
From lay-by on A909 took the track to Montquey Cottage, veering up through the woodland and scrub and over a barbed-fence just shy of the cottage itself. A steady rise across open ground from the fence.summitter30/12/2017
early am drove along track parked at gate to quarry, followed track through quarry to the top.robertphillips18/03/2017
Direct ascent from the road, a mistake as the gorse at the top edge was thick. Return via the track to the fishery roadColin Crawford29/01/2017

From layby on A909 at start of track to Stenhouse Reservoir fishing. Along track, gate to quarry, and track up and left across quarry to summit area of hill. Being a Radio 5 Live listener I feel I should now go and climb a hill from the A693, having just noted this A road number.Minto25/08/2015
Parked on the main road. Up the track, past the quarry on to the ridge. Missed the top through looking at the industrial view.Play2End26/02/2015
