From Burnside Hall, Balmullo, core paths through village & Coffin Road to pathed summit of Lucklaw Hill. Descent W through beautiful gorse, past Brighouse & House in the Hollow (fab name) to Logie. Up tracks & across a field to a small, pretty lochan for lunch. Up fields and all open gates to Forret Hill & it's small cairn. Descent to track W of quarry. Craigsanquhar climbed easily from path to South. Minor road to N of Craigfoodie Hill. Headed S through gate 150m W of Quarry & across easy fields to stone wall with gate against it. Used this to climb over, then pleasant ascent through gorse to old wall summit. Went on to Craiglug. Unfortunately many have climbed where the wall is collapsing. But there is a fab stone stile at West end of wall near cliff & beside a small wooden gate. Back to road via same route. On to Airdit Hill, climbed after Set Hill (pretty crag) from field edge to ENE. Good paths. Return to Balmullo via Willie's Wood. 19km of beautiful views & no cattle in fieldsLynnebe19/04/2023

I'm cool about cattle, but not keen on getting on the same side of a fence as a Limousin bull - so passed on this last time. Just popped up to find Lim at the summit. Stayed lying down...fasgadh10/08/2022

Started at Airdit. Walked through woods then fields onto road then along track before climbing hill.187lenny09/07/2019
A round of 4 tops. Started from a layby next to the marked footpath SW of Lucklaw Hill. A pleasant walk to the summit, then eastwards down to Lucklawhill, into Balmullo for crisps and a butty, then along a good track to Cuplahills. A lovely detour through Willie's Woodland and on to the minor road to Airdit. At the entrance gate headed up a field edge to Airdit Hill before joining a track in the woods up and over the summit towards the Logie road. Turned left then right onto a track running just south of Craigsanquhar hill (detour to grassy summit), which continues to a footpath junction. Took another right turn to a gate (bull sign but no bulls present) over which there is a track pretty much to the top of Forret Hill. Then homeward to the car via Logie and Logie House. Took about three hours at a leisurely pace.summitter13/01/2019
Parked beside phone box in Logie. Did this after Airdit Hill and before Forret Hill.duchally02/04/2018
The south top was covered with cattle, so I settled for the north one. Hopefully it won't move...Pete R27/12/2017
From Logie, after Forret Hill, both tops visited, southern one well chewed up by the resident cattleColin Crawford26/12/2017
Glad that couple of others also went to the twin south summit.it doesn't seem legit bag without it. Friesians on field to south all started walking east while I was on summit. Seems they knew in advance that it was soon going to be tea time as the farmer arrived with sacks of feed as I got back to the car.vegibagger31/08/2017
Parked at the bend in the road. Whilst here 10 days ago the field was full of cattle, but second time lucky today, they'd all been moved to another location.NormanW29/08/2017
parked track entrance at bend in road, along track visited both tops.robertphillips22/03/2017
Walked across valley from Foret hill and wandered along ridge to make sure of highest point. Then Airdit. Was passed by hounds and horses on way back to Logie. Fortunately I was out of season.Thearlaichdubh28/12/2016
P right angled bend to SW walked down road into field N side of fence/wall across at a fixed gate then tracks to top. Back to car along track through gate to top of Craigsanquhar.chrisbien31/01/2016
Along track from road bend to SE. Dry and dusty. Ploughed field is now sparse grass. Went in at 2nd gate, and followed tractor wheel tracks to summit. Visited S summit too, then back E along fence to car.Minto11/07/2015
Along the track from the bend in the road. Luckily it was dry, otherwise this would be a nightmare due to the ploughed field where the top is!Play2End09/05/2015
From south east, starting at bend in road, climbed both 159m summits.Topographer5729/01/2015
