Along farm track to Glenwhilk.colazione24/06/2023
From Dunblane Police Station[bus stop] a peaceful [except for Ardgaty race track]country walk using roads, farm tracks and field edges with minimal disturbance to barley crops. Roman Camps, David Stirling Hill,The Drum and back to PS.lordtonult27/07/2022
The so-called parking area at the start of the Glenwhilk track was in use for its proper purpose of storing silage bales so I parked nearer Doune. Nice tracks E and NNW almost to the summit, then I followed the track NW until it petered out, crossed the burn and pushed my way through the last 50 yds of undergrowth to rejoin the road at NN739034. No problems with the pheasantry.TRG31815/09/2021
From large parking? area 30m along the farm track. Lovely walk up the tracks. Nothing happening at the pheasantry, gate open.Minto21/05/2021
Cycled up the track from Dunblane. The pheasantry was open so no problem summiting.summitter10/04/2020
Dodgy parking at road end to SW (better nearer to Doune), then up paths into wood to find a probable high point. Saw a red kite.Thearlaichdubh30/12/2019
By bike from the race track. Could have gone straight from work, but was lazy. Attractive woodland, except for the summit.fasgadh13/06/2019
Off road parking on route to Glenwhilk. A pheasant walk.Play2End01/09/2018

From the end of the Glenwhilk drive, up and turn left at the cattle grid. Muddy after rain to summit in trees.NormanW23/08/2017
An evening saunter from the Argaty Road. Along the private road to Glenwhilk, left on the track up The Drum to the four small mossy knolls that vie to be its summit.Nick Down122/08/2017
With Lesley and Mike. From railway bridge about 749018 to road for Glenwhilk, then north-westwards along track up ridge. Summit area enclosed by new fence and equipment for maintaining grouse stocks, more easily entered by gate on north-west side. Return by same route.mainnirnamfiadh27/12/2016
