Easy hustle up along well-maintained, zigzag path. | sjb | 31/03/2019 |
Parked at the monument car park and followed the surprisingly snowy path to the top. Area around the base of the tower is fenced off but highest point still accessible. Great views with dramatic low sun winter sky. | Jubilado | 16/12/2018 |
With Jacqui during an 11km anytime challenge walk by Thames Valley Walking Club (BWF affiliate). A great way to see all the main historic sites in Stirling including Wallace Monument and the Castle TuMPs. Also went up to top of the tower - worth it for the amazing views, even though £10.50 each. Lunch in the cafe by the car park. | Hillsidenick | 04/12/2018 |
Walk with DH. A number of previous training runs but never bother with the highest 2 millimetres. | Eddie | 16/11/2018 |
4th time. | russell61 | 14/08/2018 |
From the monument car park. Free to walk up to the tower. 3 rivet benchmarks bagged on the path up and a pivot on the monument itself, which is a trig intersected station. Baulked at the £10.50 entrance (10% discount for NT members didn't help much). Grassed, most likely man-made, mounds at NE and S sides of the monument, one is probably higher than the other. | jonglew | 11/06/2018 |
Should have checked the opening times for the tower, but a good place anyway. | Pete R | 24/02/2018 |

Parked up outside and cut through fields and woodland to gain tourist track and up to top of mound. Inside the monument but not up the steps. Is this a Hump if you go to the top? ;-) | nordicstar | 21/01/2017 |

Nice sunny day. Wandered up to the Tump summit with mum and dad. We then went up the Wallace monument - I managed to scale three-quarters of the way up the Wallace monument before I delegated getting me to the top to my dad who carried me the final few flights of stairs. Great views. | Seumas Kerr | 05/06/2016 |
