After Shambleton, from Gauldry. The hill was moated by a ploughed and planted field so I had to follow tractor lines. Lots of deep grass and brash on topColin Crawford03/12/2017

P Kilmany Rd Gauldry. Track SE then E (very muddy kept to the trees as much as possible. Down field on N side then tracks to Round Hill.chrisbien24/01/2016
Direct south from Shambelton Hill. The summit woods have now gone! Never trust a farmer with a chainsaw.Play2End29/12/2015
Parking and access from Kilmany looked awkward. Approach from the west looked better, started near Balindean and headed SE between the cultivated fields as far as the Kilmany track, then sharp left as far as closest point to hill, then right past some dung piles. A dilapidated fence and mature pines permit easy summit access, but the direct route to Shambleton hill is defended by unbroken cultivated fields and is probably best avoided.Topographer5715/02/2015
From Gauldry via Shambleton Hill. Could be climbed from Kilmany, heading N along tack then W to summit (see 1:25k map).Minto22/11/2014
