Cycled from Leuchars to S. of the hill, then up a field margin to the wood. Cycled on to the trig at Peacehill.BasherBob16/02/2024
Parked at most easterly of 3 spots at Morendy Wood. Up field edge to gap between wall and fence at corner. Over to next wall and up through wood to top.duchally02/02/2024
Quick bag on way home from full day walk. Looked at farm Road to West but decided parking not great. Much better parking at Morendy Wood to South. Easy route through gate & broken wall along field edge. Further broken wall to fine deciduous forest, though maybe nettly at lower edge in summer. Found remnants of cairn & watched red squirrel before descending by same routeLynnebe19/04/2023

Bike round from The Gauldry. Only one where I had to do a little walking. From St Fort Hill, a fine descent to the east with a stile that was awkward with the bike but otherwise a fine bit of pro-access furniture. Coffee like drink at the garage by the roundabout, down the A92, driveway and round the corner for an easy ascent on foot through a very beautiful and intricately contoured wood.fasgadh21/08/2022
Weather fair.MountainMac19/03/2022
Round of 5 from Tay Road Bridge South CP. Ascended from farm track to N through woods - easy enough although undergrowth looks to be growing quickly. Descended NW back to farm track.quadbarrel05/05/2021
10th hill of the day parked on the A92, walked down the private roadThe Fife Flyer05/03/2021
Walked in from main road, past house and round the gate. Track up the hill most of the way. Sparsely planted trees so easy access to summit.Fife Walking17/02/2021
From W, obscure BM on wall near start; passed N of house then open woodland. As others noted, HP not where expected from map but a bit further S, and obvious.RHW26/12/2018
Straight across from St Fort Hill and up into wood. On to Chester Hill.Thearlaichdubh29/10/2018
From the crossroads to the west, parking on large grass area after hard frost. Cycled past the private no entry sign, then up into the mature wood. Several false summits.Topographer5707/02/2018
Parked at end of track to west - in mud so I had a bit of a wheel spin when I drove away. Straight up through woods to surprisingly flat summit areaColin Crawford03/12/2017
From the St Fort crossroads to the West, around the wee summerhouse then into the wood.NormanW13/08/2017
Parked next to Morendy Wood to the south and walked up through rape field to woodland. Mainly beech, giving way to sycamore at the top. A bonfire site close to summit has candles and lights ... bring some matches!summitter13/05/2017
parked at farm entrance to the west, along track then straight up through the trees.robertphillips05/03/2017
P NO420255. Track round N side of hill then track of sorts with gate to about halfway up then through trees. Top does not accord with OS contours.chrisbien17/01/2016
Lovely looking hill from the minor road. The top is clearly marked by a stone. Three cows clocked me walking in the woods.Play2End10/04/2015
From S. Parking at side of road nr forest track start. Over wall + up ploughed field edge. Under fence to pasture, then L to wood. Easily up through wood to summit. DF. Another first un-logged hill.Minto15/02/2015
