Nipped up this one at start of doing the Glen Sherup Donald's circuit. As the forest track heads uphill beyond the Reservoir the edge of the tree plantation covering this hill looks impenetrible but once you push past the outer branches the route up is clear and unobstructed as the trees are well spaced apart and bare at ground level. The highest point is also clear and easy to reach. No cairn. Returned to forest track to continue the main circuit. | Jossker | 27/01/2024 |
Mature plantation and easy to find ways up through the well-spaced trees. | sclater | 18/01/2024 |

A surprisingly easy walk up between the lines of mature trees from the high point on the forest road to the SW. Descended northwesterly on bike tracks. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 04/03/2022 |

Easy and pleasant ascent by mountain bike track meandering through the trees from forestry track at NN967049. Descended off-piste SE to rejoin forestry track, then spotted another MTB track leaving the forestry track at NN968044 which would probably have been a better descent. If heading for Innerdownie this would make a good break from the forestry track trudge. | TRG318 | 27/05/2020 |

Along the forest track to NN967043. Then up the fire break to the clear summit top. | Play2End | 09/08/2016 |
From convenient car park at the foot of Glen Sherup. Quick and easy ascent before work. Same route as alda & Minto. | Lindsay M | 19/06/2016 |
Ideal for camper-vanners. Footpath from car park, to join forest road, which is followed L at junction round hill to col. Then easily upwards through trees to obvious summit in trees. Feeling that I'd not encountered enough of the trees I took a sporting line in descent, approx NW, to rejoin forest road about 200m from footpath junction. Found evidence of MTB trails near to track. | Minto | 17/06/2016 |
Looked forbidding but turned out to be easy from col on track to south-east of summit. Choice of easy breaks, no need for hands or hood up, just a little light ducking and a couple of easy step-overs. | alda | 27/02/2016 |
