A small bump overlooking the loch.Play2End02/01/2022
From the NE end of the Daer Reservoir dam, following SUW, with a short out and back to reach the summit of Hods Hill. Continued on SUW over Beld Knowe, leaving SUW to ascend Mosshope Fell from N, rough. Went W, finding remains of a forestry track, then over fence topped by barbed wire. Easy going on tracks to Earlside and back to the dam. Beautiful sunny day, a bit cold.pwbellarby10/11/2021
Along the east side of Daer Reservoir, taking the track to Shiel Burn, from where an ATV route goes all the way to Earlside. Headed northwards, taking in the newly re-planted Mosshope Fell then Beld Knowe and on to Hods Hill, the ridge path making things very straightforward. We continued on to the windfarm track riddled summits of Wintercleuch Fell, Horse Pow Hill and Tomont Hill, returning to the reservoir head via the track along the southern flank of Lion Hill.summitter12/08/2021
Parked NT 0006 0679. Did a round of Earlside -> Mosshope Fell -> Beld Knowe -> Hods Hill. Kept to the Southern Uplands Way on retuen to NT 0085 0768, then logging road back to start. 10k round.jonglew13/11/2020
Overnight route on hills to E of Daer Reservoir. Parked at NS971097, climbed Wintercleuch Fell mainly on track in bright sunshine, to reach summit and ground of similar height the other side of track. Continued to revisit Hods Hill, then Beld Knowe, Earlside (camped by summit). Continued in rain and mist to Whiteside Hill, then descent back to beallach and to track running above E side of reservoir back to the start point.RobertP21/09/2019
