From Monksfoot, loop of Longhouse Hill, Arrarat Hill & Hareshaw Hill. All pretty good underfoot.Tisteln12/03/2024
From Hareshaw Hill. Straight up steep grassy slope from bridge over Monks Water. Solo.Dangerous Dave08/03/2024
Parked in the layby across from wind farm road. Used it, with just a short grass hop to arrarat. Returned to main road, short distance on that to cross the river, then used a short section of old track to reach the fence on longhouse hill, an atv has gone along the north side of this fence, which is handy as its boggy.hils08/03/2024
From old road loop at Monksfoot Bridge (NS 7877 2843). Hareshaw Hill first, then down and up to here. On to Strawberry Hill (TumpBeag), Longhouse Hill and return for a 9.5k round.jonglew02/02/2024
From A70 by Monksfoot using the wind farm road.Andrew Simmons06/01/2024
Parked in the small space opposite Monksfoot, walked east along the A70 to the gate beyond the Podowrin Burn bridge, took the zigzag track up Longhouse Hill, going through a gate and over a bwf to the summit. Down to the burn, crossing at a convenient stone, and up the WF track to Arrarat Hill's summit. Then north on the track and east across the top of the Podowrin Burn to more WF tracks and Common Hill's summit trig and summit. Back west, over the burn again and along more WEF tracks to the control centre and the track running south up Hareshaw Hill. I followed the wall from the next turbine down to the track by Monks Water. Aquatic and tussocky away from the tracks.Nick Down131/12/2022

2nd of 5 from Monksfoot. After Longhouse straight across to windfarm track. NB the burn can be quite difficult to cross when it is full which it was today. Arrarat is adjacent to Turbine 3. There is a Viewpoint which is cheeky as the main view is of the turbines.Thearlaichdubh19/03/2017
Round of Longhouse, Arratat and Meikle Auchinstilloch from Monksfoot. Much new windfarm construction on this one. New tracks almost to the top.Colin Crawford17/09/2015
