From an A713 lay-by to the WSW. An initial steep climb until a grass ATV track through young conifers skirting the summit is found.summitter12/05/2023
Small layby on SW side road at 241m spot height (NS 4987 0325). Steeply up heading NE then followed the wall and into new plantings in clear fell. My 500th of 500 Section 27C hills.jonglew26/01/2022
Straight up from layby on A713 to col than hop over to rough track to near summit.agentmancuso13/04/2019
Parked layby near forest edge on A713 and straight up through impressive crags to col. From col there is a bulldozed track through the felled and replanted forest to within 50m of the obvious summitThearlaichdubh10/04/2019
up from layby quickly before rain came on.robertphillips11/10/2018
5th tump of 12 today and 4th of an S shape loop from Eriff to Dalmellington climbing Benbrack, Campbell's hills and Windy Standard following open line of old fence and then trickier replanted ride then brash to felled ride allowing for easier climbing onto ridge before veering off for summit area. All knolls recorded and visited. Steep descent near fence to road with a difficult burn crossing to negotiate heading for Bryan's Heights..Dazingdale10/10/2018
Same route as colin from layby. Metalled track through felled area leads to several knolls. Not clear which is highest.cjo24/08/2018
Handy lay-by at NS498032. Up steep grassy slopes then through brash and stumps to various knolls. All in a horizontal blast of driving sleetColin Crawford22/03/2017
