A tough terrain day that started and ended at the viaduct carpark and took in Clints of Dromore East, Mountain End and Craig Hill before heading up to the bigger boys of Knee of Cairnsmore and Cairnsmore of Fleet. Returned via Meikle Mulltaggart and Craigronaid to the forest track at Loch Grannoch Lodge. Best part of 6 hours in total. | summitter | 10/07/2020 |
6th top of 10 on a traverse from the Deer Range car park to Gatehouse of Fleet, climbing Round Fell, Millfore hill, Meikle Mulltaggart, Cairnsmore of Fleet and Knee of Cairnsmore and then lunch behind an outcrop continuing the steep descent before continuing to Craig Hill. From the small car park at the forest to the south east, through the trees, felling in progress, and up through brash and deep vegetation to the top.
