Muckle Eriff Hill & Bryan's Heights from Eriff. Parking in layby on the county boundary, with majority on a nice grassy farm track. Young plantation trees at summit of Muckle Eriff Hill that will soon remove all views. | Tisteln | 06/02/2024 |
From an A713 lay-by to the NNE. The initial crossing of Muck Water is the only real barrier. I managed to find sufficient rocks to hop to-and-from. | summitter | 12/05/2023 |
P Caw Glen Bridge, track pleasant once past forestry, followed as far as junc by sheepfold then up. Met friendly farmer at cairn, direct route back down as ground quite easy. | agentmancuso | 13/04/2019 |
Nicely graded, dryish and not too tussocky open hill after Muckle Eriff via track up to stand of trees, then following sheep tracks. Lovely views into Loch Doon. | Thearlaichdubh | 10/04/2019 |
6th top of 12 today and 5th hill of a 11 hill S loop from Eriff to Dalmellington climbing Benbrack, Campbell's Hills, Windy Standard and Glenmuck Craig before descending steeply down beside a stone wall and fence to the road then i searched for a site to cross the Muck Water in full spate, finding a broken 20mph sign that i wedged in place and with the help of a goat willow tree crossed over. Steep ascent for 1st 300m then easier to attractive top. Continuing to Muckle Eriff Hill... | Dazingdale | 10/10/2018 |
