Followed the Robert Phillips route to bag 6 TumpsAndrew Simmons08/11/2023
Think this was the Robert Phillips round, 6 hills, parking in a dirt layby immediately E of the Tererran Bridge (NX 7538 9228). Walked NW on road to turn off at NX 7465 9278 making use of farm tracks to the cairn, then over sheep pastures; wall to be negotiated near the top. On to Tererran Hill -> Margmony Hill -> Stenhouse Hill -> Craigdarroch Hill -> Shillingland Hill.jonglew04/03/2021

Marwhirn had a solid vehicle bridge so repairs must have been made. Wet track up to cairn then rough pasture to summit, north of wallColin Crawford19/12/2018

Bridge at Marwhirn largly washed away just crossable with care. Dropped off at the west end of this group of 6 tumps on way to Shancastle Doon to the east. Heavy snow showers all day.cjo30/01/2016
